Our sweet three bedroom, two-storey stone cottage sits on a slightly sloping plot. The property is comprised of a wooded area, a meadow, the cottage and three joined outbuildings.
The house we believe to be around 100 years old and is in fantastic condition. The outbuildings appear to be much older and it looks like one of them may have been the original farmhouse of the area. All three buildings are in a pretty bad way structurally and their roofs are badly damaged. We will do our best to preserve them as much as possible or at least utilise the stone or wood from them in other projects for the house and garden.
The cottage has wonderful features like thick stone walls, Burgundy tile floors and attic style upstairs bedrooms. Our only real plans are to paint the whole place white to freshen its look and to install a new kitchen. A long term thought is to add a small en-suite to main bedroom upstairs.
Some new pieces of white linen covered furniture paired with collected art and objects and the inside is complete!
